That exclusion in the SIC code is worth stating plainly rather than leaving at the bottom of a page: we do not provide financial management consultancy. Our work is operational — how an organisation is structured, how its processes actually run, who owns what, and how a decision becomes a sequence of changes that people can follow.

Engagements are scoped in writing before they start, including what is outside them. We talk to the people doing the work rather than only the people describing it, and we would rather hand over ten pages that name owners and first steps than a hundred that restate the problem elegantly.
